Furthermore, Sariputra, this Pureland always has various fantastic colorful birds, white crane, peacock, parrot, Sari[37], Kalavinka[38], and Jivajiva[39]. All birds sing harmonious and elegant song day and night. The song flows with wonderful dharma, such as the profound mind-abiding, the right discontinuance, the ubiquitous traveling[40], the five roots[41], the five powers[42], the seven characteristics of bodhi[43], the eight noble paths[44], etc and indefinite miraculous dharma. All sentient beings in the Pureland receive mindfulness of Buddha, mindfulness of Dharma and mindfulness of Sangha after hearing the song, and  countless virtue and merit  perfume and cultivate them. Sariputra, you should not say that those birds are the products of retribution. Why? This Pureland has no three evil realms[45]. There has not even been heard about the name of three evil realms, much less they are really in existence. All those birds are transformed and metamorphosed by Amitabha in order to broadcast all dharma song and provide all sentient beings with benefit, ease and joy.               

 

Further, Sariputra, this Pureland always has wonderful wind blowing over all treasure trees and treasure nets, which creates marvelous music. It just likes hundred and thousand of heavenly music playing at the same time, which creates various sound and preaches numerous dharma. Whoever hears the music will naturally come up with the though of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and mindfulness on them and indefinite virtue and merit. Sariputra, this Pureland has achieved such virtue and solemnity.

 

Sariputra, the Utmost Bliss Pureland has such innumerably and illimitably unbelievable and extremely rare occurrences. If through hundreds and thousands of kalpas[46] and even with countless tongues speaking infinite sound in praising its virtue and merit, it is simply beyond description. Therefore, it is called the Utmost Bliss World.

 

Further, Sariputra, for what cause this Buddha is called the Infinite Life. It is because this Buddha and all sentient beings have indefinite Asankhya[47] life. Due to this reason, he is named the Infinite Life. Sariputra, why this Buddha is called the Infinite Light? It is because this Buddha has constantly emitted infinite and endless wonderful light, which shines on all Buddhas’ land in ten directions, and conducts Buddha’s affairs without any hindrance. Because of this reason, he is named the Infinite Light. Sariputra, Amitabha has attained Buddhahood for ten kalpas. Further, Sariputra, Amitabha has countless Sravaka[48] disciples who are all great Arhats[49] and their numbers are not measurable or known by math. They all possess various marvelous virtue and merit. Same as Bodhisattva disciples, their numbers are innumerable and uncountable. Sariputra, this Buddha’s Pureland has achieved such virtue and solemnity.
