復 次 舍 利 弗 ， 彼 土 常 有 種 種 奇 妙 雜 色 之 鳥 ， 白 鶴 、 孔 雀 、 鸚 鵡 、 舍 利 、 迦 陵 頻 伽 、 共 命 之 鳥 。 是 諸 眾 鳥 ， 晝 夜 六 時 ， 出 和 雅 音 ， 隨 其 類 音 ， 演 暢 妙 法 ， 所 謂 甚 深 念 住 、 正 斷 、 神 足 、 五 根 、 五 力 、 七 菩 提 分 、 八 聖 道 等 ， 無 量 妙 法 。 其 土 眾 生 ， 聞 是 音 已 ， 各 得 念 佛 、 念 法 、 念 僧 無 量 功 德 ， 熏 修 其 身 。 舍 利 弗 ， 汝 勿 謂 此 鳥 實 是 罪 報 所 生 。 所 以 者 何 ？ 彼 佛 淨 土 無 三 惡 道 ， 尚 不 聞 有 三 惡 趣 名 ， 何 況 有 實 ？ 是 諸 眾 鳥 ， 當 知 皆 是 阿 彌 陀 佛 欲 令 法 音 宣 流 ， 變 化 所 作 ， 作 諸 情 利 益 安 樂 。
Furthermore, Sariputra, this Pureland always has various fantastic colorful birds,
white crane, peacock, parrot, Sari[37], Kalavinka[38], and Jivajiva[39]. All birds
sing harmonious and elegant song day and night. The song flows with wonderful dharma,
such as the profound mind-
又 舍 利 弗 ， 彼 佛 淨 土 ， 常 有 妙 風 吹 諸 寶 樹 ， 及 寶 羅 網 ， 出 微 妙 音 。 譬 如 百 千 天 樂 ， 同 時 俱 作 ， 出 種 種 聲 ， 說 種 種 法 。 聞 是 音 者 ， 自 然 生 起 佛 、 法 、 僧 念 、 作 意 等 無 量 功 德 。 舍 利 弗 ， 彼 佛 淨 土 成 就 如 是 功 德 莊 嚴 。
Further, Sariputra, this Pureland always has wonderful wind blowing over all treasure trees and treasure nets, which creates marvelous music. It just likes hundred and thousand of heavenly music playing at the same time, which creates various sound and preaches numerous dharma. Whoever hears the music will naturally come up with the though of Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and mindfulness on them and indefinite virtue and merit. Sariputra, this Pureland has achieved such virtue and solemnity.
舍 利 弗 ， 極 樂 世 界 淨 佛 土 中 ， 有 如 是 等 無 量 無 邊 不 可 思 議 甚 希 有 事 ， 假 使 經 百 千 劫 ， 以 無 量 舌 ， 出 無 量 聲 ， 贊 其 功 德 ， 亦 不 能 盡 ， 是 故 名 為 極 樂 世 界 。
Sariputra, the Utmost Bliss Pureland has such innumerably and illimitably unbelievable and extremely rare occurrences. If through hundreds and thousands of kalpas[46] and even with countless tongues speaking infinite sound in praising its virtue and merit, it is simply beyond description. Therefore, it is called the Utmost Bliss World.
