Sariputra, as I now praise and extol all Buddhas’ incredible virtue
and merit, all Buddhas also praise my unimaginable virtue and merit, and say: Sakyamuni
Buddha could achieve such rare and unusually difficult things who, in this Saha[49]
World among the five kasaya periods of chaos and evil world: the impure kalpa, corruption
of doctrinal views[50], the impurity of affliction[51], Sattvakasaya[52], and the
turbidity of life, was able to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, and advise all sentient
beings of this dharma doctrine which is the utmost difficult to believe in all worlds.
Sariputra, you should know that it is very very difficult for me to practice such
formidably difficult discipline in this five kasaya periods of chaos and evil world,
attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi and preach this most-difficult-to-believe dharma
doctrine to all worlds. When the Buddha completed lecture of this Sutra, Sariputra
and all Bhiksus, and all devas and Asuras, etc., after hearing the Buddha’s preach,
were happy, trusted and accepted, and left after making obeisance to the Buddha.
